This is a journal of a crazy Navy wife. This is a place I rant, joke, blather. I am what you'd call a LJ-hypocrite.
The name "Suzy F'in Homemaker" comes from a joke with a close friend that I'm the most reluctant homemaker she knows! Things like keeping up with laundry and baking during the day were totally foreign to me. What? No calendar? No SCHEDULE?!? Oh, the humanity!!
About me:
I'm a very proud Navy wife. I'm happily married to Navy boy who has been in over 25 years. I have a son who turned 6 in June and he is the center of my life right now. I quit my fancy job and started my own online business so that I could stay home with him and I don't regret it one bit! I know my time to work will come soon, this is OUR time together, they're only small once.
I freak out a lot, I worry constantly, I make lists and then lists of lists, yes I obsess. I love to bake, cook and of course eat! I have a very varied taste in music, you'll find everything from Yanni to Eminem on my iPod on any given day. I love taking photos and want to learn more about taking GOOD photos one of these days.
About friending:
I'm pretty new to this whole LJ scene and love making new friends. I do spend a lot of time reading what you all have to say even if I don't comment as much as some - I try!
What I need to remind myself of once in a while:
